Today I was able to grab an assortment of pictures of interesting cars down on the streets.
Oooh, new Sonata. Not bad, but the taillight treatment would give Torch an aneurysm.
Looks like a Lotus Elan S4 from a distance, but the rear bumper seems, uh, weird.
Illuminati confirmed.

Little red car is a Fiat 850 Spider from around 1970.

I like a good variety pack. I was recently some place and a Ford dealer had about 20 Continentals stored in a gas station parking lot. That's like, 10x more than how many I've seen in the wild. Probably some intern should have ordered 2.

Thanks! I will assume you know a thing or two about Fiats. :)

I’ve seen fewer than 10 on the road or on dealer lots
since their release. It’s too bad, since I think they look lurvly
.

They are my jam :P

People gave them grief when they first came out for being too vanilla or something but I love the subtle opulence. They are long and low in a way that really stands out even among the likes of the surprisingly attractive MKZ. They are a true sleeper luxury that is getting increasingly less common.

Its kind of weird when certain generic intersections look weirdly familiar, I think you’re more or less around where I grew up. Montgomery Countyish area?

I think I’ve seen one, and it was a livery car, rather than someone’s personal vehicle.

Yup. These were all taken in Montco. In order, these were taken in Eagleville, Lansdale, and Collegeville, while doing some errands. I moved from the Lansdale area to western Berks about three months ago.

I went to high school in Lansdale, was pretty sure I recognized that gas station.

The gas station used to be a Gulf. North Penn High sits on the opposite corner.

I know exactly where it is - kind of close to Freddy Hill Farms.

Weird. I saw one of these on the road today. I don’t even remember when was the last time when I saw a moving one. It was also red but not as bright as that o ne. It had a very loud and nice sounding exhaust system.

They’re awesome old things! I’m weird, so I am more partial to the 850 ‘sedan’ :D
